Poor Rosie wasn’t quite sure what was going on this morning.  As the girls all moved down the alley and to the front field, she started to go into labor.  I could hear her calling to the other goats as they went out, but she kept turning back to the barn. (more…)

Badger’s Twins ~ 2009

Well, it’s like I said before, “Just when you think you know what’s going on with a goat…”

I was watching at least two other girls today, trying to determine who would be the next to deliver her kids.  Well, what do you know, but that I walked around the corner of the barn to see Badger standing with a pair of the longest-legged boys.  Most of the Spanish goats have very small kids, not much bigger than a rabbit, apart from the legs.  Long legs like these on our kiddos likely come from Jack.
